The Nutrition Community

G3 stands for gather-give-grow which inherently reflects our belief in the importance of community. A healthy & thriving community is made up of individuals that offer their unique gifts. Today, I want to introduce Nida Monsour and Lindsay Jones, local chef and baker.

It’s sometimes hard to homecook everything. It can be harder to find pre-made foods without all the preservatives and chemicals. It’s even harder to find foods that are actually nutritious and can provide the raw materials to help your body naturally heal. Which leads to two exciting announcements.

First, in Solana Beach, G3 will have Nida’s perfect protein bites for sale. Why do I think they are perfect? These little treats are made with the best ingredients possible and will help nourish your body to fight inflammation and promote recovery. Nida is a legit chef, our family has been benefiting from her treats for years and I’m so excited that she has decided to share her yummy creations at G3.

Learn More About Nida and the Menu For Her Protein Bites

Nida is not your ordinary chef. Her own health challenges have led her to combine her culinary skills with food science to make healthy and delicious creations. She sources beyond organic ingredients for the cleanest ingredients possible. Her food preparation includes ancient methods that optimize nutrient density & bioavailability. Nida’s goal is to use food to nourish your body, so it can naturally heal the way it’s designed to.

Second, in Encinitas, a local San Diego mom, friend, and baker, Lindsay Jones, will be taking orders for home-baked, naturally-leavened sourdough bread with pick ups on Wednesdays. This is not a medical recommendation, but I personally know many people who cannot tolerate gluten, but can thrive eating real sourdough bread. The slow fermentation process breaks down the gluten proteins so the digestive system can process the bread easier and allow the body to absorb more of the nutrients.

September Exercise

Forward Lunge with Arm Swing:

Use this movement pattern to increase the flexibility in the front part of your hips, abdominals, and chest/shoulders area, as it relates to the “core” article to improve posture, flexibility, and muscle memory to stay more elongated. This movement pattern can be scaled up or down, depending on the purpose. It’s always recommended that you are first instructed and supervised by one of our physical therapists for safety and to optimize your results.
